EP-10 • Foundations of Energy Psychotherapy
A brief history of energy medicine, energy psychotherapy, and key concepts of energy anatomy, as well as the tenets of the human energy field (bio-energy field/aura; centers of consciousness/chakras) and the body's meridian system will provide a foundation for the fast-growing field of energy psychology. Introduction to Meridian Tapping Techniques. Scientific evidence and the emerging body of research will be discussed)

EP-11 • Energy Healing Diagnostics
Introduction to basic principles and methods of assessment and intervention with the use of muscle testing in energy psychotherapy. Topics include: historical paradigms of applied kinesiology, from applied kinesiology to manual muscle testing, demonstration and practice with energy healing diagnostics, self testing, surrogate testing and use of muscle testing in the clinical setting. Prerequisite: EP-10

EP-12 • The Human Bio-Field
Understanding the human bio-field (aura), examining vibrational theory and its relationship to quantum physics. Therapeutic foundations and the development of Therapeutic Touch. Participants will learn exercises to clear, strengthen, and protect the bio-energy field. Prerequisite: EP-10

EP-13 • Energy Psychotherapy and Higher States of Consciousness
Shifting the ego toward higher levels of consciousness through mindfulness, the power of intention, and the development of intuition in the clinical setting utilizing visualization, light trance states, and energy psychotherapy techniques to heal karmic and ancestral patterns of dysfunction. Prerequisite: EP-10, EP-11

EP-14 • The Chakra System
Historical perspectives and connections to Eastern healing beliefs and practices. Utilizing the chakra system for both physical and emotional healing. Chakra-clearing techniques and utilization of Comprehensive Chakra Therapy to release and transform limiting identities, lifelong traumatic patterns, negative core beliefs and learned limitations. Prerequisite: EP-10, EP-11

EP-15 • Meridian Therapies I
A brief history of acupuncture and acupressure as related to physical and emotional healing. Overview of the body's meridian system, acupressure points and their related emotions; stimulating acupoints for treatment of emotional issues. Clinical meridian therapeutic techniques such as Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT) and others. Emphasis on relief from stress and anxiety, healing fears and phobias, and reduction of cravings and addictive urges as they relate to the addictive paradigm. Prerequisite: EP-10

EP-16 • Energy Interference
Exploring the various energetic patterns that can interfere with successful treatment. Learn to eliminate secondary gain and treat emotional problems stored in the body as blocked energy. Energy treatments for learning disabilities/ADHD. Prerequisite: EP-10, EP-11

EP-17 • Energy Therapies and the Brain
Brain patterns and relationship to trauma; the role of the amygdala in the fight/flight/freeze reaction and the role of the reticualr formation in the creation of negative thought patterns. Introduction to Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT), a protocol for utilizing the occipital region of the brain - the vision processing center - to heal cellular memory. Prerequisite: EP-10

EP-18 • Meridian Therapies II
Advanced clinical applications of Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT), including the latest advances in the field developed by the EFT Founding Masters, such as Pat Carrington's Choice Method. Strategies for minmizing abreaction in treatment. Focus on clinical issues of PTSD, depression, and chronic pain and illness. Prerequisite: EP-10

EP-19 • Energy Psychotherapy and Therapeutic Practice
Participants will learn ways to enhance and expand their clinical practice and take it to new levels by integrating principles of energy psychology into a new paradigm of integrated wellness and life enhancement. Energy psychotherapy in group settings. Practitioner self care. Group practice and critique. Students will be asked to give a demonstration. Prerequisites: EP-10 through EP-18

EP-20 • Practicum
In addition to supervised practice within each of the other modules in the Certificate Program in Energy Psychotherapy (CPEP), participants will be required to participate in demonstrations utilizing energy psychotherapy techniques, followed by feedback and critique. The goal of this intensive practicum is to increase mastery and build confidence as a practitioner. Prerequisites: EP-10 through EP-19

EP-30 • Ethical Practice in Energy Psychotherapy
Issues of professional ethics are ongoing concerns of mental health professionals. Licensure and scope of practice, right relationship and ethical boundaries, transference and counter-transference, liability and malpractice, confidentiality, and informed consent as applied to energy psychotherapy will be the focus of this module. EP-31 • Pesonal Growth and Development in Energy Psychotherapy
Participants will be required to receive six (6) documented energy psychotherapy sessions with an approved energy psychotherapy practitioner. (The cost of individual psychotherapy sessions is exclusive of CPEP tuition and is the responsibility of the participant.)

EP-32 • Supervision
Participants must document six (6) hours of clinical supervision with a licensed mental health practitioner who utilizes energy psychotherapy within his or her clinical practice. These clinical supervision hours may, in turn, be used by individuals for license renewal purposes. To be arranged. (The cost of supervision is exclusive of CPEP tuition and is the responsibility of the participant.)
